Introduction to Future Vision
Google is partnering with XPRIZE and Range Media Partners to support the Future Vision XPRIZE, a global film competition. The goal of this competition is to inspire the next generation with short films and trailers that envision an optimistic, technology-forward future. The power of storytelling, combined with AI tools, will be used to create these visions.
The Competition
The competition is open to submissions now through August 15, 2026. Participants can use traditional live-action, animation, or AI tools to create their submissions. The grand prize winner will receive creative and production support from Google to turn their three-minute submission into a full-length feature film. This support will help lower production barriers and augment the creative process for emerging filmmakers.
